Historical newspapers: So far we have added the Chambers Historical Journal, which contains interesting articles, as well as birth, marriage and death entries from the 1830’s. More newspapers and journals will be added monthly.

Online bookshop:

For your easy reference our census transcriptions with index are sold by parish and in book form. Most areas in southern Scotland are covered including 1811, 1831, 1841, 1851, and 1861.

Hawick and Jedburgh prison indexes now available with more to come soon, and we have also completed transcribing some early parish records for Castleton parish, Roxburghshire.
