Dumfriesshire Valuation rolls (1896-97)
Valuation rolls were collected annually from 1854 to 1988. For each property they record the name and designation of the proprietor, the tenant, the occupier and the annual rateable value. They do not list any other residents in a property.

Gretna letter Two very socially interesting letters. Two letters sent from Annan on June 1873 regarding Mrs Mary Cron or Scott, wife of John Scott Riggfoot, Graitney (Gretna). It would seem Mary has been in receipt of benefit from the parochial Board and now that she has inherited money from her sister it is being requested she pays it back. Hawick Rugby dinner card Hawick Rugby football club Complimentary dinner card. Friday 29th April 1927. This card belonged to Robert Archibald Vivian Grieve born on the 28th of October 1907 and died on the 24th of October 1942. It is signed by all members of that year’s team who are; C.H.
